T. I. Designs has developed Affordable Suspension parts to give the off-road recreation enthusiast a quality
product at an affordable price. Our products are not cheap copies made in foreign countries, but quality parts
made in the USA.
We offer several models in our 2-¼ inch longer trailing arms. These products are designed to give up to 14
inches of wheel travel, and fit into stock front beams or lengthened, custom beams. This is the simplest and most
economical way to increase travel, strength, and reliability on a front-end beam.
Our AS-335 long travel arms use heavy thick-wall DOM (drawn on mandrel) tubing, which is almost identical to
chromolly tubing in tensile strength tests. The AS-335 has a higher yield strength, which gives it less chance of
breaking, as compared to the more brittle chromolly tubing that can leave you stranded on three wheels far from
camp.
Our AS-235 long travel arms are similar to the AS-335 arms, but use a modified stock main tube, allowing you
to use either stock or after-market torsion bars. These arms are great for lighter vehicles, such as rail or fiberglass
buggies.
The AS-135 arms use a modified ball-joint main tube with two great advantages. First, the AS-l35 core parts
easier and less expensive to obtain than link pins. Second, the lower trailing arm has a larger and stronger diameter
are main tube designed for taking more punishment off-road.
Our AS-H and AS-B 3-inch drop combo spindles will raise your vehicle. They use chromolly combo spindles
and a massive 1-1/2 diameter king pin, rather than the 18 mm stock pin. They utilize a full-length brass bushing
with thrust bearings surrounded by two 1/4-inch thick layers of DOM tubing. This is far superior to the foreign
import parts that are cast, and very brittle. By raising the vehicle, the AS-H and AS-T spindles soften the ride by
taking preload weight off the springs or torsion bars.
